Definition of the service set up by the Directorate-General for Customs and Indirect Duties\u003C\/h2\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EBy Decree No. 2015-1404 of 5 November 2015 on the right of users to submit a complaint to the administration electronically, the possibility for any user of a French public service to obtain information and\/or carry out an administrative procedure is made available by each administration.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003ETo enable any user to submit an electronic request to French Customs, hereinafter referred to as \u201cDGDDI\u201d, a contact form is set up, available from the websites www.douane.gouv.fr and www.service-public.fr, dedicated to users\u0027 requests for information. This electronic input device is referred to hereinafter as \u201cthe Service\u201d. It does not replace existing teleprocedures or teleservices for customs administrative formalities.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch2 class=\u0022titre_ckeditor\u0022\u003E2. Use of the \u201cService\u201d\u003C\/h2\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe RDIB provides users with an online referral service that allows them to submit a request for information and submit it electronically.\u003Cbr\u003E\nBy \u201cuser\u201d is meant individuals, professionals and generally any natural or legal person wishing to contact the DGDDI.\u003Cbr\u003E\nThe use of the \u201cService\u201d is optional and free of charge. The use of the French language is privileged.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe \u201cService\u201d is not open to users, who would like to file an application excluded from the right of electronic referral by the decrees referenced below or to carry out an approach for which a teleservice exists on the portal of the DGDDI: www.douane.gouv.fr\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe use of the \u201cService\u201d is subject to the acceptance by the user of these terms of use.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe conditions of use of the \u201cService\u201d fall within the scope of Article 3 of Ordinance No. 2005-1516 of 8 December 2005, relating to electronic exchanges between users and administrative authorities and between administrative authorities, as amended by Ordinance No. 2014-1330 of 6 November 2014.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EWhere a teleservice dedicated to a specific administrative procedure does not exist, the \u201cService\u201d is the preferred solution for referring the matter electronically to the DGDDI as administrative authority as designated in Article 3 of the amended Order 2005-1516 of 8 December 2005.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch2 class=\u0022titre_ckeditor\u0022\u003E3. Operation of the \u2018Service\u2019\u003C\/h2\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe use of the \u201cService\u201d requires a connection and a web browser. The browser must be configured to allow session cookies. It is recommended to use the following browser versions:\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cul\u003E\n\t\u003Cli\u003EFirefox version 31 and higher\u003C\/li\u003E\n\t\u003Cli\u003ESafari version 7 and higher\u003C\/li\u003E\n\t\u003Cli\u003EInternet Explorer version 8 and above\u003C\/li\u003E\n\t\u003Cli\u003EChrome version 35 and higher\u003C\/li\u003E\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EWhen using the \u201cService\u201d, the user identifies himself by completing the information requested in the form. Among the information requested, the user of the \u201cService\u201d must provide a valid email address. This address may be used to send any reply from the competent administrative authority to the request for information.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe user completes the online form and validates it.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EAfter transmission, an acknowledgement of receipt (AR) of the request for information is immediately sent (within one working day) to the email address provided. This AR indicates how the request for information will be handled.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003ESubsequent to the initial request, the user may complete the request by filling in a new online form or, at the invitation of the instructing customs service, by contacting the instructing customs service mentioned in the acknowledgement of receipt directly by e-mail. He must then specify the reference number of his initial application, received in the above-mentioned registration acknowledgement.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch2 class=\u0022titre_ckeditor\u0022\u003E4. Availability and evolution of the \u201cService\u201d\u003C\/h2\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe \u201cService\u201d is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. However, the DGDDI reserves the right to change, modify or suspend the \u201cService\u201d, without notice for maintenance reasons or for any other reason deemed necessary. The unavailability of the \u201cService\u201d does not entitle to any compensation. In the event of unavailability of the \u201cService\u201d, the user is informed: he is then invited to carry out his procedure later.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe terms of these Terms of Use may be amended at any time, without notice, based on changes to the \u201cService\u201d, changes in legislation or regulations, or for any other reason deemed necessary by the DGDDI.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Ch2 class=\u0022titre_ckeditor\u0022\u003E5.
