Logistics envelope: a new function of the smart border

The logistics envelope allows you to group several customs declarations together to save time when crossing the border between United Kingdom and France.

A new app developed as part of the smart border, is now available on douane.gouv : the logistics envelope

Whether you are a company, a customs broker or a carrier, you can access to this app from your computer or your smartphone without any login.

The logistics envelope allows you to group several customs declarations - for both import and export - under a single document in order to save time when crossing the border, especially at the Calais/Dover Strait.

This innovative solution will be applicable at all points of entry/exit to/from Calais region and more broadly of Channel-North Sea.
